Happy Friday! We closed the week strong — SPY ended at 637.18, up 0.78% today and even more for the week. We also saw some nice follow-through above the 21-day moving average.
Next week is monthly expiration week, which means more activity for covered calls and cash-secured puts. While I love trading weeklies, some stocks only have liquid monthlies, so I’ll be managing a lot of rolls. I’ve already been prepping this week.
In my “Option Trades” section for paid subscribers, I broke down those rolls and discussed a stock I’m watching — ticker PEW — with earnings next week. If you’d like my trade ideas, market write-ups, and real-money covered call and put trades, consider becoming a paid subscriber. It costs less than one fancy Starbucks a week.
